Many people tent to believe that no one clicks on Facebook ads anymore. But, that’s not true. Actually Facebook generated 114.93 billion U.S. dollars in ad revenues in 2021.

People still use Facebook and click on ads.

The question here is different: How do you make people click on your Facebook ads?

With all the steps, Facebook ads can be complicated for beginners. Targeting the right people and create the right ads for them are quite important. So, it is not about learning how to use Facebook ads. It is about how to use it properly and generate clicks.

With 2.93 billion monthly active users as of the second quarter of 2022, Facebook is the most used online social network worldwide. It also offers up an opportunity for marketers to increase their organic results.

Why Advertise on Facebook?

You should see Facebook as a way to create brand awareness. It can’t help you generate purchases as much as Google does, but it definitely allows you to show images and videos which can support your branding. So, users will be familiar with your product and services.

Plus, if you’re looking for a cost-effective way to advertise your brand, Facebook ads have the lowest average cost per click of all social media advertising platforms. Because it offers specific results than general searches will give you.

Not only do they offer low rates per click but also a wide range of ad formats and objectives that will allow users at every stage in their marketing funnel; this means more customers for less money spent.

How to Advertise on Facebook?

Create an Account

The Facebook Ads Manager is a great way to manage your ads and keep track of how much you’re spending on them. The dashboard provides you with key information about how much money YOU are spending on ads, as well an estimate for daily expenditure based off that number alone.

It also gives insights into what has been working best – like frequency or cost per reach- so it makes reporting performance easier than ever before. To use this tool all we need from our business page account status will be confirmed by clicking ‘yes,’ which allows us access not only onto facebook but through personal profiles too.

Connect or Create Your Facebook Page

If you’re running ads for your business, you’ll need to have a Facebook Page.

A Facebook Page is a free profile that businesses can use to promote themselves on Facebook.

Creating a Page is simple and only takes a few minutes. If you haven’t created a Page yet, now is the time!

To create a Page:

  • Go to facebook.com/pages/create.
  • Select the type of Page you want to create from the options provided.
  • Enter the required information into each field.
  • Upload photos and videos, add a cover photo, and fill out your Page’s About section.
  • Click “Create Page.”

Once you’ve created your Page, take some time to populate it with high-quality content.

Be sure to add a cover photo, profile picture, and descriptions so that people know what your Page is all about.

You should also start posting engaging content that will get people talking about your Page.

The more active your Page is, the more likely people are to see and engage with your posts—and your ads!

Choose Your Objective

Now that you have a Facebook Business page set up and you’re ready to start running ads, it’s time to choose your advertising objectives.

Facebook offers a number of different ad objectives to choose from, each with its own unique capabilities.

To select your objective:

Go to the Ads Manager.

  • Click “Create.”
  • Enter your campaign information.
  • Click “Continue.”
  • Select your ad objective from the options provided.

Once you’ve selected your objective, it’s time to start building your ad!

Choose Your Audience

When it comes to Facebook ads, choosing your audience is one of the most important factors for success. After all, if you’re not targeting the right people, your ad is likely to fall on deaf ears. So how do you choose your audience?

You can choose your audience for each ad set that belongs to the same campaign. There are a few things to consider. First, think about who your product or service is most relevant to. What are their demographics? What are their interests? This will help you narrow down your options and create a more targeted ad.

In addition, consider your budget. Different audiences will have different price points, so you’ll need to factor that into your decision. Last but not the least, think about what you want your ad to achieve. Are you looking for brand awareness? Sales? Leads? Once you know what you’re looking for, you can choose an audience that is most likely to achieve that goal.

Facebook gives you Core Audiences, Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences options.

Set Your Budget

The next step is to set your budget. You’ll need to choose how much you’re willing to spend on your ad campaign, and you can do this at the ad set level.

When setting your budget, consider how much you’re willing to spend on a daily basis or over the course of your entire campaign. You can also set a lifetime budget for an ad set, which allows Facebook to automatically adjust your bid in order to help you reach your desired outcome while staying within your specified budget cap.

Create Your Ad

Now that you’ve configured all of the necessary settings for your campaign, it’s time to start creating your ad.

You’ll need to provide some basic information about your ad, including the text, headline, website URL, and image or video you’d like to use. You can also add additional images, links, and call-to-action buttons to further customize your ad.

Once you’re happy with your ad, click “Publish” to make it live.

Monitor Your Ad's Performance Metrics

Now that your ad is live, it’s time to start monitoring its performance. Facebook provides a number of metrics that allow you to see how your ad is performing and make necessary adjustments along the way.

Some important metrics to keep an eye on include:

  • Reach: How many people have seen your ad?
  • Frequency: How often are people seeing your ad?
  • Clicks: How many people have clicked on your ad?
  • Cost per click: How much are you spending on each click?
  • Conversion rate: How many people who saw your ad took the desired action?

By monitoring these metrics, you can get a better sense of which ads are performing well and which need to be improved. You can also use this information to adjust your budget and targeting settings as necessary.

Facebook Ads Cost

How much you spend on Facebook ads will depend on a number of factors, including your budget, the type of ad you’re running, and your target audience. You can set a daily or lifetime budget for your ad campaign, and you can also choose to focus on a specific audience. Monitoring your ad’s performance metrics is important to ensure that your ad is reaching the right people and achieving your desired results.
